Watching the Ships Roll In

My original character for my nuzlocke, back when the idea was a just to do a regular comic. Her name is Akane, meaning 'beautiful red'.

I wish I'd thought about using her instead of Red (which is basically just me lol), but I didn't think of it until I started working out more of the plot. I'll be using a lot of the same elements, but worked a little differently to fit better with Red.

I actually drew this at least a year ago, and I've since lost the original file, which is why the ocean's all skewed lol. I stumbled across the file and I really like the sunrise.
